Oh and be sure to read the comments. I figured it would be a wave of ditto heads, and then a couple voices of reason getting shouted out, but not that massive pile on of shame and humiliation.

*LOVE* it.

That would explain it.

I was looking for a place to comment when I first read the article, and couldn't find it. I'm glad that the snide people got to it first.

Damn, they pulled the comments. They. Were. Priceless.

Now, of course, the idiot is claiming that he knew it all along, and *his* piece was satire too.

Uh-huh. Sure it was. We believe you.

Really.

Damn, I wanted to read those. I couldn't find them, but I'm glad to hear they pulled them rather than that I'm just a dork and couldn't find them. :)

Well, comments on that one are closed, but there are a few entries about the 'Onion Incident' on the rest of that blog...where this wacko refers to the Onion as "satire" and says they meet people like the chick in the Onion article every day.

I think someone is just living in their own little world.

And hell, I'm pro-abortion; I'd abort that person if I could get away with it. :p

Yup. Those comments start 4 days after the original op-ed piece was posted. Nice attempt at backpedaling.

Can I send the blog author a copy of Swift's _A Modest Proposal_ so she can rail against baby-killers throughout history? Huh? Huh?

Once I made it off the floor, I felt sorry for the poor girl whose picture is on the page - it's supposed to be the author of the onion story. It looks like a high school yearbook picture that somebody just tossed in, but that girl is marked for life. Either the pro-lifers thinking she's a horrible abortionist or the rest of us thinking she wrote the stupid pro-life article.
