Thanks. :) Yeah, the freaky part was apparently that it hadn't spread anywhere else - normally in a case where it causes that level of destruction of the bone (the X-ray was nasty looking), sepsis et al set in and you have systemic infections. It stayed contained for some bizarre reason, and we got to it in time. Very happy about that.
