... for the kind words and thoughts about Bob.

She's resting at home now, and seems to be doing pretty well. In fact, she was much more alert and perky before the pain killers were administered... I'll see how she is tomorrow morning, may scale back the meds a bit if it seems appropriate. (Then again, she seems to *suck* at letting us know when she's in pain - she'll whine when her food bowl is less than topped off, but fails to whine about a frickin' JAW TUMOR. Get some priorities cat! Jeez!)

You don't admit to illness or injury, cause that's an opening for an enemy. My Fizz did the exact same thing, under the same circumstances.

Sidney did that too... he probably had been sick for a long time but never "showed" signs. Vet said that cats are masters of hiding illnesses, which in the wild makes sense, but at home then their owners don't notice anythings wrong until it's really late in the game :(

But sounds like kitty is doing good...
