Grady is Grady Booch - the guy who gave the keynote at WICSA last month, who I spent *MAYBE* three minutes talking to, have mailed twice, and haven't gotten a reply back from. The second mail to him was telling him that, since he's in IBM, if he was by any chance near the Watson center yesterday, I'd be giving a talk. He apparently contacted someone at the labs and told them.
I was pretty positive he didn't remember me from Adam, but...
I was pretty stunned to have it come out of left field like that.
He says to the woman who has been considering chopping 4" off, to keep from sitting on it. :) But yeah, it's been a while since you've been here. At least, long enough to actually meet for coffee . . .
