kickahaAt the end of this season/series, Doctor Who reboot guru Russell T. Davies is stepping down after four years, there's going to be a one year set of mini-series/specials, and then in 2010, a new head guy takes over. Stephen Moffat. He's a writer on the show, and has done the following episodes:
The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances
The Girl in the Fireplace : 2007 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form; nominated for a 2006 Nebula Award
Blink : nominated for 2007 Nebula Award for Best Script; nominated for 2008 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation
Notice any trends? Yeah, they pretty much rock. He excels at the effects of time travel, character continuity, drama, horror, and comedy, all at once. Over the last two weeks, the BBC has shown his contribution for this year: Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
O. M. F. G. These were just brilliant - absolutely brilliant. You do not want these spoiled, so I won't. Just... wow.
I can't wait to see what happens when *every* script has his fingerprints.
