I love Penny Arcade. Uber geeky gaming humor with a sick, sadistic twist. My kind of guys.

But today they exposed themselves to be just another bunch of Johnny-come-latelys, and geek wannabes.

Many moons ago it became a running joke on Usenet, and then later in the early days of Slashdot. No, I have no idea why, it just was.

It's since disappeared from the landscape, and here they had the best lead-in one could possibly imagine, and they just... didn't. *sigh*
