kickahaIn 2001, NPR asked Jim's Big Ego, a Boston band, to come up with a 'New New Year's Song' since, apparently, a lot of people loathe Auld Lang Syne. (I love it, personally, I just ignore the overused part.)
What they came up with is New Lang Syne... also known as Thank God, It's Over.
Given the general feelings of folks posting here regarding this past year, I thought I'd share. Great maudlin song for getting trashed to, IMO.
