kickahaSo I started at my new position on Monday. This past Monday, 10/16.
It is in a new building, one town over.
I put in my office move request on 10/9.
Just today, I got my moving boxes. Hmph. Well, the office is packed (I pity the poor bastards who need to move these boxes of books - these boxes are about twice the size I thought they'd be), and all that's left is to copy down the scribblings from the white board, and I'm outta here.
Now if I only had a new office assignment to be moved *to*... *sigh*. Yup, no office in the new building yet.

And in related sad news, it looks like I'm going to have to use a Windows machine professionally for the first time in a decade. I feel... dirty. It's silly - I already have all the necessary software loaded on my PowerBook, and it works *just fine*, dammit.
*shakes fists at faceless demon IT people of little brain*
