Keen. I await repealing of DMCA, Patriot Act, etc, etc... and will be rather mightily ticked if they don't happen, so, like, get on that now that you have the Exec and Legis branches. Failure to do so will be seen as lack of promised change.

Dear NC: Obama up by <15,000 votes, 98% reporting... but what about those absentee military ballots from Ft. Bragg, etc? Might be a tight one.

Oh, I'm not optimistic, I'm downright pessimistic.

You'll note I didn't single out Pres Elect Obama, I mentioned both the Exec *and* Legislative branches. This has little to do with the candidate, and much to do with the larger party, so speaking of 'he', singular, misses the point I was attempting to make.

I don't believe for a minute that the New Party In Power is going to give up the powers created by the Previous Party In Power, even though they've been bitching about fighting them for the past 8 years. (They'll wield them *correctly*... trust them.)

It will be interesting to see if the party who has been in opposition to these rather insane pieces of legislation has the balls to reverse them, now that they have the means to do so.

My guess is that these issues will simply slide into a quiet limbo, and be forgotten. I look forward to being proven wrong, however.
