kickahaIt's 13 minutes until the paper deadline. The big paper deadline. The international conference deadline.
12 hours ago I was still struggling with getting preliminary data to report in said paper, out of tools and an experiment that I've been working my *ASS* on for over two weeks.
10 hours ago I threw up my hands in disgust and decided to write a formalisms paper instead, figuring what the hell.
2 minutes ago I handed in an 8 page paper (well, okay, 7 pages plus 35 references on the biblio page).
Bleah.
But along the way I manage to hammer out a new reliance operator that captures cohesion in a *formal* manner, and filled in the missing piece of my design calculus. Whee! I think I have a formal model now that's pretty bloody complete. They're going to reject it, because the paper sucks, but hey, that's okay. This was the first draft for the paper due in two weeks, and *that* conference is in Austria. ;)
If I had beer, I'd down it. It's Guinness time.
In the absence of the dark ambrosia, I'll settle for seeing if I can sleep after two pots of coffee. *twitch twitch*
