My family is insane.

Grandma's fever is down, death is now seemingly not imminent, my aunt freaked out and called everyone else with a message of impending doom prematurely.

We'll see what happens next on As The Apple Turns.

*sigh*

Eh, the sad thing is, it's not much of a relief. I love my grandma, but she's physically and mentally past the point of taking care of herself, in even basic ways, but she's still aware enough to know it. And it's not going to get better. And she's aware of that too.

At some point, death becomes a welcome friend instead of the enemy, and think she's past that boundary.

I'll keep you up to date on the twin, however.

Yeah, I understand where y'all are, but I felt it was important to say something supportive, and "gosh, that's too bad" seemed over the top, even for me.

Nevertheless, we're sending good thoughts your way, and hoping that however it goes, it isn't too painful for anyone.

Yeah, no idea what the hell happened with that. Auntie seems to be a little... flaky these days.
