Synopsis: the Caps Lock on the newest Apple keyboards has a slight delay built in before engaging, somewhere around .25sec, so if you accidentally just tap it, it won't engage. Nice. Personally, I have Caps Lock and Ctrl swapped to put Ctrl back where God intended, to the left of A.

I'll let you know if the Bluetooth version of the keyboard does the same - it's supposed to show up on Monday, currently residing in Hong Kong, according to FedEx tracking.

Swapped. Rebound. Same thing. (Another nice detail - hitting the key that Caps Lock is *bound* to controls the light on the key marked Caps Lock. Most keyboards biff this.)

Nice rant, and I completely agree. :) I'm kind of curious as to how this intentional Caps Lock handler works in practice.
