Proof that overly thought out health food is evil.

[livejournal.com profile] ginkgo recently posted about putting cereal out for the birds and chipmunks. Well, it's this god awful health food cereal that's full of soy. Soy nuggets, soy squares, soy tubes... soy, soy, soy. I like soy beans (mmmm, edamame), but I have never been able to pleasurably consume cereal with soy in it. It tastes *nasty*, and leaves this weird dusty feel in my mouth. Hence, why it was put out for the animals, because we were never going to eat it.

Guess what they left? All the soy bits. The bran flakes, oat flakes, and other normal cereal type things are all gone, but they left all the soy crap.

When wild animals won't eat it, maybe that's a sign? :P

Troublesome.

It's not that my current project to graduate is driving me insane.

It's not that it'll be a steaming pile of poo by the time I'm done with it, but (barely) functional.

It's not even that I chose perhaps the hardest possible route I could have to get done.

It's that in a few weeks when gcc4.0 comes out, all this work will have been wasted.

*whimper*
