SG-1: Much better than I feared it would be. In the end, it looks like we have Teal'c aged enough that Chris Judge no longer looks odd playing someone who is *supposed* to age a lot slower than everyone else. Nice touch. (But what the hell is up with the one-sided streak? It's like Teal'c got crossed with Reed Richards.) Would have liked to have seen Jack at least make a frickin' cameo though... :P It didn't try and wrap up every little thread, it didn't try and wind down their careers (for a while, I thought that was what we were going to get, ala B5 - a slow unraveling of the cast), and the final "Godspeed" was a nice reference back to Season 1, Episode 1. Was it just me though, thinking that the old-age makeup on *Doctor Who* recently was much much better than what they had?? I mean, when the special effects team at the Beeb outdo you... you gotta start worrying. :) Ah well. Could have been much, much worse. It felt like they finally got the team chemistry clicking.

SG-A: KAYLEEEEEEEEEE! *ahem* Interesting episode, definitely looks to change things, but I just hope their spindizzy doesn't crap out and they have to go bindlestiff. That'd suck.

I thought that was nicely handled with Chris Judge aging. The perennial problem with Angel and Spike in the Buffyverse, of course. The one-sided streak is just kinda goofy, but hey, bald, hairy, stripey, he's still hot.

Yeah, er, the old age makeup blew goats. Bad. Bad bad bad. Except Sam, and she'd be hard to mess up. :)

I *loved* the scene with Daniel and Vala. Loved it. I could see the point in Daniel's head where it went from "ha ha, very funny, now stoppit" to "Goddamnit bitch, stop messing with me" to "okay okay, now I'm ranting to convince *myself* all this yabble is true." And I'm okay with the fact that neither one remembers, and that it may never happen again. *heh* That may be the perfect solution, actually.

SGA: Didja see the other cast addition for next season? Wasn't in this episode, but was pointed up in the "coming in the fall!" trailer. I think it's the perfect military/civilian/science compromise, and I think it's going to make Rodney really crabby and yet not, so yay. And always Yay Kaylee! So much better than when she was a big blue almost-bug. ;-)

Agreed on Daniel/Vala, the scene was beautifully played by both of them. "I'm not letting you jerk me around anymore, I'm fed up, I'm... I'm being *such* an asshole..." The resolution was nice as well.

And yeah, SG-A will benefit, and yes, McKay's head will likely assplode. "She's my *BOSS*?!?"

Another ditto on the new doc. She could give me a physical any day. :D
