...how many people who bought HDTVs for the Super Bowl were *REALLY TICKED* at the rain and fogging on the camera lenses? It visibly degraded the picture on a regular signal, I can only believe that it was several times worse for those expecting crystal clear images.

I'm pleased to say that the rain and fogging on the camera lenses *in no way* reduced my enjoyment of the Super Bowl.

Of course, since I can barely remember who was in it this year, and have absolutely no idea who won, perhaps my experience should not be taken as representative.
