I liked the original rumor better last year that the BBC were remaking it with Christopher Eccleston as the lead. This, not so much perhaps.

They should just remaster the old ones. I suppose that they could make something that is more accessible for kids, but the creepiness of the original with the Cold War setting probably can't be matched. When the evil is terrorism, it doesn't make a coherent enemy. On the other hand, the idea that he was fighting against his own controlling shadow government may be still be topical today.
