I'm so proud...

I know (okay, virtually, but still) this guy: http://www.drewprops.com/?p=219

I assume most of those who went to DragonCon saw him. I've been hearing his stories for the last week or so leading up to DC, but he asked everyone to keep mum until they made their 'big debut'.

The guy whose blog I linked to and I are on a few of the same boards - we've been chatting back and forth for a couple of years now. When he posted that they were going to do this, I *REALLY* wanted to go to DC in cardboard.

Ain't it just?

He was afraid that a hundred angry geeks in 'real' Stormtrooper costumes would descend on their heads.

They we pointed out that they're still geeks, and the armor is still sheet plastic. He relaxed after that. :)

Sounds like they got a nice welcome though. :D
