Could be, but the rumor mill has been bouncing between one of:

1) ST: Academy. How Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, et al met up
2) ST: The Continuing Voyages. The rest of the five-year mission.
3) ST: Aw fuck it, let's just do it over. Complete reboot.

All three would be the KSB trio, with new actors.

Personally I'd love to see the time period between Eprise and TOS covered, but B&B managed to screw up continuity already so badly with Eprise, and then it was cancelled just as they brought on decent writers and it was getting interesting. Bleah.

Meh. I've heard it's a TOS reboot as well, and that they want Matt Damon for Kirk. Which of course invites the idea of Ben Affleck for Spock. See if you can wrap your head around Good Kirk Hunting.
