Wasn't it though?? Man, the whole playoffs have been fantastic. (Of course, it's easy to say that after your team wins the Cup, but...)
My Dad is a huge Oilers fan, and he was pretty down last night, but even with that, he had to admit it was one hell of a game, and a series. Hell of a run for them. First time an 8th place seed got to the Finals, *and* coming back from 3-1, *and* getting a shut out, *and* taking it to Game 7, *and* scoring the first-ever penalty shot in the Finals *and* scoring the first-ever OT short-handed goal?? They have nothing to be ashamed of.
Yeah, there was a definite disadvantage to living on Glenwood if you wanted to sleep last night. Fortunately, I come equipped with earplugs and a huge sense of exhaustion.
