Med whining

My Dad asked how I was doing, and asked what was *wrong*... or at least, what the symptoms were.

"Imagine having a mild hangover, and being half asleep. All the time."

Today I feel like warmed up leftover buckets of sweet and sour ass, with a side order of bleah. I got 9 hrs of sleep, got up, got fed, got coffee, got showered, dressed, the whole bit, sat down to check email before heading to work, and... fell asleep. Sitting up. For over an hour. The salted water keeps me hydrated, which keeps the headaches, tingling skin, and lightheadedness down, but now I'm just *exhausted*. I feel like I've been pulling all-nighters, and thinking straight takes work.

Whine, whine, whine.

Endocrinologist appt on the 21st. Whee.

Pity me! *hand to forehead* My life sucks! Woe is me!

Ooooooh! I'm an LJer! :D

Edit: New icon! Whee!

I wouldn't mind half as much if I could *concentrate* and get work done. As it is, it means everything takes three times as long. :p

All that aging you were supposed to be doing while working on the PhD? All those ten years that you put it off?

You're doing it now.

All at once.

So what you're saying is... as long as I never stop working, I'm immortal? Sweet.

Oh wait.

Damn.

Apnea? I didn't have the amazing experience other people did when they started using CPAP, but this kinda sounds like how I felt when my machine stopped working.

That's been brought up, and while it may be a component, I've got several other weird things going on too. Ongoing fatigue is a Yet Another Symptom of adrenal failure. I gots no oomph in my motor. Apnea is definitely something I'll be looking into though - although I feel *rested*, I don't feel *awake* if that makes any sense. I feel like I got a good night's sleep, but I just can't seem to get above the line to 'alert'.

I'm drinking half a gallon a day of salted water (1-1 1/2 tsp total), with an additional half gallon of straight water, and my blood pressure is about 125/75. Without it, it's down below 110/70, and I feel even worse.

Gads. GADS. I hope you get to the bottom of it fast, and that it's easily treatable and not serious.

Gads.

**hugs**

I'm sure that once you've solved this, you can find someone to make you whine like a little girl more often.... Perhaps several someones.

:)

You know, there could be some correlation between your tiredness and your recent post about NOT SLEEPING. Dumbass. :p

Salt-drinking freak.... ;)

LOL Yeah, but since then I've been getting plenty of sleep...

And really, this doesn't feel like "Oh darn, I didn't get enough sleep last night", this is more like "I've pulled two all-nighters this week already, and haven't had more than 4 hrs at a stretch." I *know* what *that* feels like, I've done it for weeks on end. This is a lot closer to that than the former, and it came out of nowhere. One night of just a couple hours of sleep is a minor annoyance to my energy levels, usually. This is a full scale gutting. :p

Whine I say! WHINE!

Oh, honey. I'm so sorry. I *think* I can relate... but I usually get to the living room and the point of getting my shoes on and then fall asleep.

We all love you so much, and hope this whole process gets somewhere soon. It's no fun wondering what the heck is wrong with you but knowing it could be something really sucky. Here's hoping it's not!! That would be no fair!
