Synopsis for the click-impaired: Canes *KILLED* the Devils 6-0 after all sorts of boasting by NJ fans about how they were going to just walk all over the Canes.

Not saying it's indicative of the rest of the series, this is hockey after all, but after all the posturing of the Devils fans, it's nice to see their noses in the dirt for a while. What *is* it with people up here in NY/NJ? Boasting, posturing, strutting around like they have to fight for everything... how fricking insecure does everyone have to be?? Hunh. Now I'm wondering if the general hairiness of the male population accounts for the problem. I mean, when that optical inch doubles the apparent size...

For most people around here stop signs are invitations to play chicken more than anything else. Have a stop sign when the other person doesn't? Why not just inch out into traffic and make them stop instead!
