(cue yacht rock)

Well, eight years after my last eyeglasses prescription, I have found out that my eyes have changed...

...not at all. Seriously. My right eye is exactly the same, my left has the same diopter, but a *slight* change to the *slight* astigmatism, in angle, but not strength.

Not what I was expecting.

It made me soooo happy when my prescription *finally* stopped changing. At least I don't have to deal with an astigmatism!

Yeah, stability means I might be a candidate for corrective surgery. :)

Every eye exam I've had over the last long while they mention I'm a perfect candidate for corrective surgery. I'm waiting until I have more assurance against potential loss of low-light resolution. The odds currently aren't bad, and the loss is typically minor, but I'd feel better with even better odds :). I can wait a bit.

As for yacht rock: *cues up Chris de Burgh* "Jeru-salem is lost...."

What the hell is 'yacht rock?' Like, the Love Boat theme?

Side note, a friend and I in college used to sing the Love Boat theme with a thick Austrian accent, because it's funny that way. Your Learning For the Day.

Oh, isn't that one of THOSE bands, that you and Jason or badger were talking about at one of your parties? Maybe I'm better off not knowing. :p

Well, I certainly wouldn't recommend it on a full stomach, if that's what you mean ;-)

Yacht Rock is painful.

Yacht Rock is funny.

Yacht Rock will stay with you forever. You will be unable to hear elevator music without thinking of Yacht Rock for the rest of your life.

Yacht Rock gets funnier each time you watch it. The choice is yours.

Where the wolcano blows...

Ever try to teach an Austrian "Volcano" by Jimmy Buffet? Hilarity ensues...
