I would probably watch at least one episode of this out of curiosity, had Time Warner not clued in to all the free premium channels they gave me when I got my DVR. But, as I discovered when I tried to figure out why it wasn't recording all the new "Real Time" episodes... they did :(

What the hell is Big Love?

It's a new drama based on polyamory/polygamy on HBO. One guy, three wives, all on the up and up.

I've run across statements from folks in some poly communities that they're looking forward to this show because it'll help with the public image of poly, and show how it *really* is.

I reeeeeeeally don't think so. TV ratings are based on creating disasters for the characters... and honestly, this is so ripe with potential problems for poly's image that it isn't funny. "See? They're all nuts!"
