Can I get off the ride now?

The last two weeks have been... insane. To a level of insane I don't think I hit during my entire dissertation experience. Thankfully it looks like things are starting to settle down, and the number of HIGHLY FUCKING CRITICAL items is being whittled down. We have a date for the movers to arrive. We have a place signed and paid for. We have confirmation (finally) on what will, and will not be moved by the movers. We have a plan to deal with the things they won't move. We have a plan that won't kill us... and will be cheaper.
Now if I could just sleep in a real bed again, I might start to relax and get rested a touch. (A camping cot and sleeping bag don't really do it for me long term.)

Date: 2006-02-15 09:43 pm (UTC)And hopefully you'll stop being a lousy LJ updater soon - you really are disappointing all of us by not stopping your life's progress and sharing every bit with the interested masses!
Moving always sucks, even if it's for a good reason.
Dear LJ:
Date: 2006-02-16 08:34 pm (UTC)Then I walked downstairs, and almost tripped over the carpet. My landlord hates me and is trying to kill me, I just know it.
Work sucks. Everyone there hates me. More on that later.
I'm so thankful for everyone on LJ, you all post wonderful things when I say I'm being ignored and that you are too. It's like one big LJ love fest.
But I know you all hate me.
