Help me Jeebus

Lotus Notes 7 is starting to make sense.

Or rather, I'm becoming numb enough to the FUCKING GODAWFUL UI that it hurts less.

Seriously, who the hell came up with this? It's like several UI teams were given no direction whatsoever, then whatever they threw together was slapped into one big blender. Cripes.

Note to Notes team: If you have to ship a tool with your app whose sole purpose is to KILL YOUR APP DEAD when it goes into la-la land, you might want to check your QA approach. Just sayin'.

Hurts less. At least, that's what my reaction to Notes was like personally, both times I was part of that magecorp.

Yeah, I looked for somewhere to create a signature to be added to my mail messages.

I look under File -> Preferences. I look under File -> Lotus Notes Preferences -> User Preferences. I look under all the usual places.

Try Actions -> Tools -> Preferences, and then two tabs nested in. Not to be confused with the top-level Tools menu, of course. :P

We're running 6.5 at work.

I think that someone got high enough in the technical division to officially decide that it sucks, though, because it sounds like we'll be moving platforms before the Summer. Granted, if we're switching to what I think we're switching to, I'm not sure that'll be that much of an improvement.

I should mention that that only is used with Wine under Linux. 'Nuff said.

Hurm. I could swear the 7 client isn't running on WINE...

Let me go check that... nope, mine says it's running Java.
