Bone growth, probably tumor. 70% chance Squamous Cell Cancer (SCC), which essentially means "try and keep her comfortable while it eats her head from the inside out", 20% chance of fibrosarcoma, wherein surgery/radiation *might* buy her a year or two, 10% random other. There is a very, very slim chance that it is 'merely' an incredibly localized, severe bone marrow infection that destroyed the bone into a pulpy mass, but it's highly unlikely at this point.
In any case, not what I wanted to hear.

You know we've had our share of cat crises here, so it kills me to see it happen again. Give Bob lots of hugs. I can't but hope against the odds on this one, I'm just like that.
