Sometimes I hate it when I'm right.

Not an abscessed tooth.

Bone growth, probably tumor. 70% chance Squamous Cell Cancer (SCC), which essentially means "try and keep her comfortable while it eats her head from the inside out", 20% chance of fibrosarcoma, wherein surgery/radiation *might* buy her a year or two, 10% random other. There is a very, very slim chance that it is 'merely' an incredibly localized, severe bone marrow infection that destroyed the bone into a pulpy mass, but it's highly unlikely at this point.

In any case, not what I wanted to hear.

At the clinic I worked at, I used to regularly see a kitty who had SCC in his nasal cavity.
Somehow, despite the poor prognosis, he lived nearly 4 years longer than expected.

I'll cross my fingers that Bob will be the same, if not better.
