Note to all audience members, everywhere...

Avoid cultural slams when questioning a presenter, even if unintentional.

"I have an issue with your use of the word 'concerns' here... you're using it to indicate only undesirable traits of a system, which flies in the face of 30 years of software engineering nomenclature. It's not like we can just segregate off the undesirables. I mean, some societies do, but..."

[awkward pause and silence]

Yup, the presenter was Indian.

I don't get the nit-pick over 'concerns'. What's the use in software engeneering?

Other than Not Getting What He's Beefing About, I think it's pretty goddamn funny. Mouth, meet foot. Foot, and his friend calf and upper thigh.

And why the hell CAN'T we segregate out undesirable traits in a software system? That makes little sense.
