kickahaA few weeks ago we got introduced to some amazingly delicious little cookies from Japan, chocolate filled and with cute little koalas printed on them. We bought a couple packages, and just finished them off.
Latest news re: Chinese melamine tainting:
"Officials in Macao, a Chinese territory, said Friday that the chemical had turned up in koala-shaped cookies made by a Japanese-owned company." (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/27/world/asia/27recall.html?ref=world)
"The government in the Chinese territory of Macau said late Thursday it had found melamine levels 24 times the safety limit in chocolate-filled Koala's March cookies made by Lotte China Foods Co.
