1. Nope. Yes, he was. No, he would never talk about it. The 351st squadron of the 509th group of the 8th Air Force was the responding unit. His. He later flew cargo planes to Wright Patterson. *whistles tunelessly*
8. Awwwww....
10. BING BING BING I think I'm at 40 right now. Have just a few SE states and Maine, NH, and Vermont. Maybe Connecticut.
16. Unfortunately, not this one. Tracked me for about a mile down a canyon while I was cross-country skiing near Cashmere, up near the summit of Mission Creek. (You can get to Ellensburg that way, if that lets you know how far out I was.) Stayed up on a cliff about 15' above my head, but then when the cliff came within about 6' of the roadbed... SCREAMED. Right in my freaking ear. I thought I was already doing top speed.
24. Again, unfortunately, this one is true. Had measles at 18months, fever spiked from 101 to 107 in about 15 minutes, I went into a seizure. Back arched, rigid as a board, turning purple, the whole bit. My mother threw me into a sink of ice water, doctor said it was the only thing that saved my life. He was still convinced I was going to have massive brain damage.
