Yeah, we get some hellacious freezing rain down here. 'Ice storms' they call them. I've seen almost 2" thick on my deck, solid clear ice. Trees and power lines go down more quickly than a $5 hooker in a Navy town. So far this year we've avoided one, but I think it's only the second year without one at *all* since I moved here.

No snow, just ice. Lovely. :P :)
