Remember boys and girls:

Deprecating, sweeping, stereotypical and unenlightened comments about women, and their place in society = bad, evil, and horrendous.

Deprecating, sweeping, stereotypical and unenlightened comments about certain regions, and their supposed attitudes = A-OK.

Making *ist comments is ok if the PC Police say so.

Sometimes the colocation of comments is too thick with irony to ignore.
