Ginkgo just reminded me that I heinously and coldly forgot to mention her *last* pies that she made a couple of weeks ago. Cherry. With almond. And amaretto. She found fresh cherries at the grocery store for dirt frickin cheap, but they simply weren't good for eating fresh. But cooked was another story. So a pie and a few ramekins of filling were baked, and eaten gleefully. :)
