Yeah, I doubt most people even who lived near me have the same reaction. By the time the ash cloud/wave hit, I'm sure most everyone was all tucked away. No, brilliant me, *I* was the one with my face glued to the picture window in our living room watching it race right towards me. :)
I think it was just a case of being in the right place at the right time to end up with that visual image in my head.
