What a fucking *GLORIOUS* night...

kickahaAnother paper down - had a 7am submission deadline, made it with over 5 hrs to spare.
Not bad for starting at 4pm this afternoon. :)
Went out for a walk to chill out in the post-submission adrenaline fog, and it was raining. Low cloud cover, light slightly cool rain, about 60 degrees out, with the sodium vapor showing all the tiniest textures of the vaporous tendrils scudding across the sky, all to accompany me as I walked around campus listening to my iPod.
To all non-Seattleites, you have no idea what you're missing.
Then the hard rain hit, soaking me to the skin in minutes, beating a steady staccato against my bare head, hair let free in the wind, as I laughed and ran to get hot honey biscuits at Time Out.
To all non-Heels, you have no idea what you're missing.
Two coasts, two rains, two nights, all mine tonight, all for me.
Life is good.
