Yes, that's really the whole mechanism.

(And yes, I know the images are flipped - snapped them with the iSight on my PowerBook, and by default it mirrors your image so you can check your appearance before connecting a videoconference chat, and I'm too lazy to fix the images.)

But yes, it certainly looks much smaller and easier to deal with than the entire monster rig you posted last year with you in the semi-complete Borg get-up.
