*pant pant pant*

It's 85F, and 65% humidity.

In the house.

Maybe we should have put the AC units in after all... Nawwwwww... ;)

Heh. Yeah, beating the rush always works better. :) We *have* two AC units, we just got into this mindset of wanting to see how long we could go without installing them, since we've had such a cool summer.

And now we're being stubborn. By end of August, it won't be an issue, so we're kind of like "well, it's *only* three more weeks or so..." Luckily, the weather looks like it's cresting about now for heat and humidity. We'll keep our fingers crossed. :)

Wow, my time in NC really changed my perspective on 'hot'.

Yeah, we spent three full weeks in Hawai'i a couple years back, and by the time the third week rolled around, we didn't think twice about going out in the 95-degree heat. Acclimation is a nifty thing.

Of course, we acclimated back to 65-and-cloudy in about three seconds on our return to SEA. :)

LOL Yeah, when I was up there for the reunion, I drove into Wenatchee and it was 104F. About 10 minutes later, it seemed fine. Still prefer dry to humid heat, but at least I can not melt like a popsicle when it gets into the 95F/95% range. I'll whine about it some, but it's livable.
