Ooooh, lucky it wasn't a cicada, it would have taken your head clean off.

I smacked into one at 60mph on my motorcycle in NC, right in the middle of the forehead.

It dented my helmet. I had to buy a new one.

Happily, we don't have cicadas 'round these parts. I can totally see how that could be an issue, though.
