When I am dead, I hope it is said;

While our ice cream maker isn't a hand cranked model, we've got raspberry (wineberry actually, a little more tart than its sibling) and blackberry bushes in our yard. I don't believe they've bloomed yet so I can't judge when we'll get berries. Hopefully, we'll have ripe berries when we throw our Porch Party once the porch is rebuilt. We're planning on serving desserts and prosecco, with homemade ice cream and sorbet being the main attraction. I'll give y'all a call when either event comes to fruition.
