Oh, and I think you missed the point - when I compared two other units (that it allowed me to), many of the attributes were tagged "Yes" or "No". In other words, the units that it let me compare *had* differing attributes. Making the displayed attribute list a union of the attributes of the units was already being accomplished - the only reasoning I can come up with is that they had attributes between units that were close enough to cause consumer confusion, but not exact enough to be directly compared... which implies a level of concern for detail that isn't present anywhere else on the site.
And, in case it wasn't clear, this was solely on the Panasonic site, between two 46" plasma displays - it wasn't like I was asking it to compare a Sony LCD and a Pioneer Plasma. :)
