So I have to say that I'm really pretty thoroughly offended by the Official Passion of the Christ *nail pendants* that you can buy on their website. And I'm not even what I'd call Christian.

Come on folks, this is as tacky as selling "I got nailed at Golgotha!" t-shirts.

OTOH, *that* I would buy.



Jay Leno apparently said that the response to PotC has been so overwhelming that they're looking at making a book of it. This got me thinking...

Have the Mormons bought the options yet for the sequel?

Would Israel bankroll Episode I?

But if they were to make a comic book out of it, who the heck would write the teaser Issue 0?

Finally, (since I can obviously go on all night in this vein, I have faith that I can keep bringing it back) when they do come out with the novelization, will Oprah or Larry King have a nice tete-a-tete with that mystery author of the ages, Gideon?

It's the world's #1 shaded biblical mini-golf, don'cha kno. ;)

Somebody had to run with it... And, honestly, would you rather have it any other way? If someone's going to make that much of a statement about their religion, they should be proud to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous hecklers!
