Practice, practice, practice

ginkgo and I went to a Kultural Event tonight.

The Oratorio Society of New York's annual performance of Handel's Messiah at Carnegie Hall. Started in 1874, and sung every year at Carnegie with the exception of 1960. (Carnegie Hall was built *for* the OSNY... literally. Carnegie's wife was a soprano in the OSNY, and they needed a place to practice and perform. Voila.)

The whole three hour work. Oy.

One of my coworkers is a soprano in the choir, so we even got to go be stage door groupies. :D
