A moment of silence

After over a decade of stalwart service, my beloved little Krups espresso machine has died.

Obviously this has left me traumatized. I may not be able to replace it for at least 24 hours of dedicated mourning.


Any suggestions on a replacement unit?

We *just* gave up on our old maker (for which I paid my brother $5 about ten years ago) and ordered a new one. If your timing had been better, either *we'd've* gotten useful data from your request, or we'd've *had* useful data for it.

And no, I don't know which one we ordered. Because when I say "we", it is the managerial "we"--M. of course has done all the work and has all the info, and it isn't here yet for me to check. I'm just here to take the credit. Though I hear it came fairly highly recommended by users at Amazon.
