Okay, so...

Watching the new Bionic Woman. They have established that they are monitoring everything she sees and hears.

And this week they showed Ops sending a signal to her ear, remotely.

So.

Why do they need to call her on a cell phone?

Because they pay for the cell phone service with their mileage-plan-linked credit card.

I do not like the new Bionic Woman as much as I wanted to.

Compartmentalization of information concerning capabilities, as in was anyone either hostile or lacking need to know in either end of the cellphone call going to note that she received information w/o a cellphone? Am I giving this show way too much credit in even considering the possibility? Am I revealing too much of my own thought processes that I would consider this as a valid explanation?

Well, the simple answer is: product placement.

Gah, glad I quit watching the show. Saw the first 3 eps, but even though Katee Sackhoff is awesome, "our" bionic woman is just too angsty for me.
