Not bad, not bad at all...

Received the wireless keyboard this morning - nice. Very nice. Stupidly thin, but solid. (I guess having the body be a solid piece of seamless aluminum does that.) Key action is pretty good - has the same slight 'tic' feel that the wired keyboards have. Not mushy, not a precise 'click' either, somewhere in between. No numeric keypad or Home/End/arrows cluster, this is the same as the laptop keyboards in layout. (Given that I've used laptops more or less exclusively for the past five years, this doesn't bother me in the least.)

I love that when I put it on my lap, it's centered and ready for typing. A 101-key keyboard would be hanging off to the right, and off balance.

The trackball works well, but it's not particularly stable - I need to, at a minimum, velcro it to the chair arm. Hmm, perhaps a small swingtray...

But yeah, this is a good little unit. Glad I bought it.

It will be interesting - the aluminum body is *solid*, and I have hopes that the keyboard mechanism is rugged, given that it's the same one used in the MacBooks and the wired keyboards.

It's funny, this thing is so solid and hefty that I have to keep myself from just tossing it across my desk - I don't have the feeling it would hurt it at all.
