Buddy of mine decided that the Spitzer brouhaha didn't have enough comedy to go with the drama...

Fall 2006: Wii is coming out, Super Smash Bros Brawl is to be the first online-enabled game. I decided that it would be fun to get my brother and myself Wiis for Xmas, as well as copies of SSBB. Of course, no Wiis can be found around Xmas, SSBB is due out Mar 2007.

Jan 2007: SSBB is delayed until Sep.

Apr 2007: Manage to get two Wiis.

Jun 2007: SSBB is delayed until Mar 2008.

Mar 11 2008: Pick up copy of SSBB. Woot!

Mar 12 2008: Not so fast. Turns out that some older Wiis have problems with the dual-layer discs of the SSBB, and need to be sent to Nintendo for repair.

Guess who got bit. :P Luckily, turn around is running about one week.




Go ahead Frank, laaaaaaaaaaaaaugh.
