One of the big journals in my field, one of the ones I keep *MEANING* to send a paper to, just had a paper come through that hits pretty closely on my research area. Big ol' "Fuck..." moment.

Then I noticed that they referenced two of my papers in the biblio.

Sweet.

If I'm not publishing actively, healthy references are the next best thing.
