Bone growth, probably tumor. 70% chance Squamous Cell Cancer (SCC), which essentially means "try and keep her comfortable while it eats her head from the inside out", 20% chance of fibrosarcoma, wherein surgery/radiation *might* buy her a year or two, 10% random other. There is a very, very slim chance that it is 'merely' an incredibly localized, severe bone marrow infection that destroyed the bone into a pulpy mass, but it's highly unlikely at this point.
In any case, not what I wanted to hear.
