No mas! No mas!

Somewhere along the line, [livejournal.com profile] ginkgo and I became social creatures again.

One night a week.

By some odd twisted bizarre ironic *CRUEL* fate of the universe, every single ongoing social event that we have falls on Wed night.

There's the Scoobygang that gets together to watch Angel.

Then there's Stitch & Bitch every other week.

Then there's [livejournal.com profile] jason0x21's monthly drink nights.

And all three are converging this Wednesday. AAAAAAAAAAAA!

Could they alternate? Could they be staggered? Could they even, god forbid, happen on *different nights of the fucking week*?!?!?!?

Oh no. Of course not.

*sigh*

And I just found out that one of my favorite local seedy bars has $7 pitchers of Guinness... on Wednesday nights. Gah.

I think it's traditional ...

... that no one ever has anything to do on Wednesdays. Therefore, a bunch of people in your area decided to solve this by having events on Wednesdays ... without realizing that they'd done it at the same time. =/

I suppose that you could just fold up scribbled on pieces of paper in a bowl, then draw every Wednesday to see what you're going to do that evening?

I entirely agree. Wednesday is also inherently perfect - halfway through the work week, not on a weekend.

Luckily my night yoga classes are on Monday and Thursday nights.

It's *pilates* which is Wednesday nights as well.

Sigh.
