One down...

Previously I bitched (me? never) about a publishing gig: http://kickaha.livejournal.com/167105.html

Coda: The book is out, I got my author's copy, and they managed to get most of it right in the end.

They did, however, drop my middle initial from my name for no reason.

Which is kind of an issue. No, really, it's documented.

Ah well. It's done.

I feel your pain, believe me.

I'm not even the only Brian M. Gray in PubMed. *sigh*

Awww. That stinks.

I suggested that K take my last name or hyphenate when we got married so that he would have a more unique name for publishing. It wasn't his bag (and I was totally cool with that) so that was when he decided on the funky middle initial. Unfortunately, there were a few deadbeats in NC with the same first and last names and middle initial. Collection agencies called us regularly for a while and it was the perfect opportunity to tease him about not changing his name. :D

Hey now, there are a few with the M, but *none* with the McC. :)
